The UAE Lottery has announced the latest winner of its Dh30-million Grand Prize, with an Abu Dhabi-based Nepalese resident becoming the second player to claim the top jackpot since the launch of the Lucky Day Draw.
Tayab Khan won the prize after matching all six winning numbers and the Lucky Number in the draw held on May 27.
Khan said he was not watching the draw live and learned of his win later through an email notification. “I am feeling absolutely amazing, like I am in the sky,” he said, adding that he had selected the numbers randomly.
A spokesperson for the lottery said the win marked a milestone for the Lucky Day Draw, which has now produced its second Grand Prize winner since the Dh100-million jackpot, alongside previous Dh5-million winners.
Lucky Day Draws are held every Wednesday and Saturday at 9.30pm, offering participants the Dh30-million grand prize, a Dh5-million second prize, and three Lucky Chance prizes worth Dh50,000 each.
