Singapore Airlines (SIA) has extended the suspension of its flights between Singapore and Dubai until February 28, 2027, citing the ongoing geopolitical situation in the Middle East.

The extension affects two services: SQ494, operating from Singapore to Dubai, and SQ495, the return flight from Dubai to Singapore.

The airline had previously suspended the services until December 1, 2026.

SIA said the situation in the region remains fluid and warned that other flights across its network could also be affected. Passengers have been advised to check the airline’s flight status updates for the latest information.

Passengers affected by the cancellations are eligible to claim a full refund for the unused portion of their tickets.

Those who booked directly with Singapore Airlines can request refunds through the airline’s online assistance request form, while passengers who booked through travel agents or partner airlines have been advised to contact their respective booking providers.

The airline apologised to affected passengers for the inconvenience caused.
