UAE travellers are facing another day of flight disruption, with several airlines cancelling or changing services to Saudi Arabia as regional security concerns continue to affect aviation.

Etihad Airways has cancelled all Abu Dhabi–Riyadh and Abu Dhabi–Dammam flights through Sunday, October 18, while selected Abu Dhabi–Jeddah services have also been suspended. Emirates, flydubai and Air Arabia have reported cancellations affecting several Saudi destinations.

Passengers travelling between the UAE and Riyadh, Dammam and Jeddah are being advised to check their individual flight status before leaving for the airport. Airlines have stressed that schedules can change at short notice as the situation develops.

The disruption is particularly significant for UAE residents travelling to Saudi Arabia for work, family visits or religious travel. Travellers with connecting flights are also being advised to check both sectors of their journey rather than relying on an earlier confirmation.
