Motorists in parts of Dubai and Abu Dhabi could encounter fog or mist as overnight humidity reaches approximately 90 per cent.

The risk is greatest during the night and early morning in susceptible coastal and inland areas. Drivers should reduce their speed, maintain additional distance and avoid using hazard lights while their vehicle is moving.

Daytime conditions will remain hot despite the return of humid mornings. Coastal and island areas are expected to record maximum temperatures between 37°C and 42°C, while inland locations could reach between 41°C and 46°C.

Conditions will generally be fair to partly cloudy, with the possibility of clouds developing over eastern and southern areas. Winds could also strengthen around cloud formations, raising dust and temporarily reducing visibility.

Motorists travelling before sunrise should check current warnings and road conditions immediately before departure, as fog can develop unevenly and change rapidly.
