Rain and hail affected parts of the UAE on Wednesday, with several locations in Sharjah, Fujairah, Ras Al Khaimah and Al Ain experiencing showers ranging from moderate to heavy.
Khor Fakkan recorded the highest rainfall among the reported locations, while hail was observed in parts of Khor Fakkan and Fujairah. Several mountainous and eastern areas also experienced rainfall.
The National Centre of Meteorology forecast further cloud formation and possible rain in eastern and northern areas on Thursday. Temperatures across the country are expected to range between 22°C and 38°C.
A yellow fog alert was also issued for parts of the country during the early morning hours, with motorists advised to exercise caution in areas of reduced visibility.
