UAE fuel prices fall across all grades from July 1

UAE motorists will pay significantly less for fuel from July 1 after authorities announced the first price cut in four months, following a decline in global oil prices.

The UAE Fuel Price Committee reduced rates across all fuel grades, reflecting easing concerns over supply disruptions and improved shipping conditions in the Strait of Hormuz.

From July, Super 98 petrol will cost Dh3.40 per litre, Special 95 Dh3.29, E-Plus 91 Dh3.21, and diesel Dh3.60, marking reductions of up to 16.9 per cent compared to June. The cuts are among the largest monthly decreases since fuel pricing was liberalised in 2015.

The latest adjustment comes after Brent crude prices fell to around $73 a barrel in June, down from above $100 during earlier regional tensions, with lower global oil costs feeding into July’s retail prices.

Analysts say the decline reflects improved supply conditions, although markets remain sensitive to geopolitical developments that could quickly reverse the trend.
