Dubai residents now have a new alternative to conventional offices and coffee shops after the city’s first Work from Park facility opened at Al Barsha Pond Park on November 2.
Dubai Municipality developed the initiative with Group AMANA and workspace operator Letswork, combining professional facilities with the recreational environment of a public park. The project is designed for freelancers, remote employees, students and entrepreneurs.
Outdoor work areas are free to use and offer connectivity and power facilities. Indoor co-working access costs Dh50 for a full day and includes coffee, high-speed Wi-Fi and charging points. The indoor facility operates from 8am to 8pm, while meeting rooms can be booked from Dh200 an hour.
Dedicated desks are available for longer-term rental at Dh1,200 a month. The concept also incorporates community and wellness activities, with plans for running clubs, yoga sessions and other recreational programmes.
