Dubai’s Global Village opens its 31st season today, bringing back one of the UAE’s most popular seasonal attractions with new entertainment, shopping and dining experiences.
The new season officially opens to the public from 6pm, with opening-night celebrations including a 600-drone show at 8pm, a choir performance and the Parade of the World. More than 3,000 shopping outlets and over 40,000 shows are planned during the season.
The attraction will feature 29 pavilions representing more than 90 cultures, along with two new pavilions and a new roller coaster scheduled to join the entertainment line-up later in the season.
For Sri Lankan visitors and families, one of the notable changes is the return of a stand-alone Sri Lankan pavilion. In the previous season, Sri Lanka was represented as part of the Bangladesh pavilion.
Global Village will operate from 4pm to midnight from Sunday to Wednesday and until 1am on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and public holidays.
