Dubai’s Ibn Battuta Mall has announced 38 retail, food, dining and entertainment businesses that have recently opened or are planned as part of a wider redevelopment strategy.

According to figures released by the mall’s operator, Dubai Retail, 21 businesses are already operating, while another 17 are expected to open by the end of 2027. The additions include restaurants, cafés, fashion retailers and family entertainment venues.

New and recent food outlets include Five Guys, Jimmy John’s Sandwiches, Marugame Udon and Caribou Coffee. Upcoming names include Peet’s Coffee, Ocean Basket and Asia Kitchen. Roxy Cinemas is also among the planned additions, alongside new family leisure attractions and service providers.

The announcement follows online discussion questioning whether the mall is losing popularity. Dubai Retail says the destination attracts around 1.5 million visits a month, with more than 350 businesses currently operating there. The planned additions aim to strengthen its appeal as both a shopping destination and a convenient centre for nearby residents.
