The UAE has suspended flights operated by Iranian airlines to and from the country with immediate effect.
The General Civil Aviation Authority said the suspension would remain in force until further notice. The decision affects passengers travelling between the UAE and Iran, including those using Iranian carriers for onward connections.
Travellers have been advised to confirm flight status directly with their airline and to rely only on official updates before travelling to the airport.
