More than 10 million meals will be prepared for families and children in Gaza during a large community humanitarian event in Dubai on 26 September.
The “Ahmed bin Rashid Humanitarian Bridge” will be held at Dubai World Trade Centre and is expected to bring together volunteers, community groups and members of the public.
The initiative is being organised by the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives in cooperation with Operation Gallant Knight 3. It will honour the late Sheikh Ahmed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and support food-aid efforts for people affected by the conflict.
Organisers said the event is intended to combine practical humanitarian assistance with public participation, allowing volunteers to contribute directly to the preparation of relief supplies.
