Abu Dhabi has launched a reproductive-health programme that aims to increase the emirate’s reported IVF success rate from 59 to 80 per cent by 2030.

The programme covers preconception care, genetic screening, fertility diagnosis and treatment, IVF, egg freezing and embryo preservation for men and women.

Precision medicine, artificial intelligence and a database containing nearly one million genomes will be used to support more personalised care and improve treatment outcomes.

The emirate currently has more than 2,000 reproductive-health professionals working across over 250 facilities.
