Holiday homes in Abu Dhabi cannot be advertised on websites or booking platforms without a valid tourism licence under updated regulations.
The licence number must be clearly displayed on the property’s listing page, helping travellers confirm that accommodation is operating legally.
Eligibility has also been expanded to include individual and joint owners, companies, tenants and people authorised by property owners, subject to applicable conditions.
Abu Dhabi ended 2025 with 4,771 eligible holiday-home units after supply increased by 77 per cent during the year.
