UAE residents will have opportunities to see Saturn, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Mercury during the remainder of September.

Saturn is currently the easiest to observe, rising in the east shortly after dark and remaining visible for most of the night. Venus can be seen low in the west after sunset, while Mars and Jupiter are visible before sunrise.

A crescent moon will appear close to Venus on 14 September, while Venus is expected to reach its brightest point of the year around 18 September. Mercury becomes easier to locate during the final week of the month.

Dark locations recommended for viewing include Al Qudra and Al Marmoom in Dubai, Al Quaa near Abu Dhabi, Mleiha National Park in Sharjah and the higher ground around Jebel Jais.
