A fleet of 1,215 school buses has undergone safety and operational preparations ahead of the new academic year.

The buses are expected to transport approximately 36,500 pupils each day across Dubai, Ajman and Ras Al Khaimah. Preparations include mechanical inspections, deep cleaning, checks of onboard safety equipment and reviews of driver and support-team readiness.

No bus is cleared for service until all required checks have been completed.

A central control centre will monitor vehicle locations, traffic conditions, travelling speeds and live onboard video. Routes are also being optimised and can be adjusted when a student is absent, helping to reduce unnecessary stops and journey times.

Parents should confirm collection times and route information directly with their school or transport provider, as individual schedules may change during the opening days of term.
