Dubai has introduced a unified system using artificial intelligence, machine learning and advanced data analytics to assess workforce productivity across 32 government entities.

The platform compares human and financial resources with government-service outputs, allowing authorities to monitor productivity indicators, improve planning and make more informed decisions on resource allocation.

Development began with a limited pilot in 2020. The expanded system now draws on millions of data points and is intended to establish a common method of measuring performance across the Dubai Government. The development also highlights the growing importance of AI and data skills for professionals seeking employment in the emirate. Dubai Media Office
