UAE motorists will have an opportunity to remove four black points from their traffic records by participating in the country’s Accident-Free Day campaign on August 31.
Drivers must first register and sign the campaign’s online road-safety pledge. They must then complete August 31 without committing a traffic offence or causing an accident to qualify for the reduction.
The initiative coincides with the reopening of schools and aims to encourage motorists to observe speed limits, avoid mobile-phone use, maintain safe distances and exercise additional caution around school zones.
