A preliminary US-Iran peace deal could provide a boost to hiring in the UAE, with recruiters and HR leaders saying improved regional stability is prompting businesses to revive recruitment plans that had been delayed by months of geopolitical uncertainty.
According to a Khaleej Times report, sectors such as logistics, construction and healthcare are expected to lead the recovery as confidence returns and trade routes, including the Strait of Hormuz, reopen. While experts do not anticipate an immediate hiring boom, they expect companies to gradually resume recruitment, prioritising critical roles and phased expansion.
Industry leaders noted that healthcare hiring remained resilient even during the conflict, while logistics jobs could rebound quickly due to the expected easing of supply chain disruptions. Employers are also expected to maintain a cautious approach, focusing on quality hires as the market stabilises.
