The UAE will experience generally fair weather during Eid Al Adha this week, with rising temperatures, humid nights and occasional cloud cover, according to the National Center of Meteorology (NCM).
A slight drop in temperatures is expected on Sunday, with partly cloudy skies and possible fog or mist over western and coastal areas during night and early morning hours. However, hotter conditions will return from Monday as the Eid break begins for government employees.
Temperatures are forecast to peak at around 43°C in Al Ain and 41°C in Fujairah, with fair to partly cloudy conditions expected on Arafat Day and the early days of Eid. Winds may reach up to 35 km/h at times.
Humidity is likely to increase overnight and early morning in coastal areas, while sea conditions in the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea are expected to remain slight.
The NCM noted that the country is gradually entering the summer season, with temperatures already exceeding 40°C in recent weeks ahead of the astronomical start of summer on June 21.
