The Sri Lankan Rupee has significantly appreciated against a basket of Gulf currencies today in comparison to yesterday (29).
According to the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, the Rupee has also appreciated against the UAE’s Dirham with the selling rate reducing from Rs. 81.45 to Rs. 80.78.
The Rupee has, however, depreciated slightly against a number of other foreign currencies, including the US Dollar. (NewsWire)
