
Dubai schools are reminding parents not to photograph or film other children or staff without consent.
The guidance applies to classrooms, corridors, playgrounds, assemblies and school drop-off and pick-up areas. Parents are also being asked not to share images containing other pupils through WhatsApp groups or social media without permission.
The measures are linked to child privacy and safeguarding requirements under UAE law. Parents interviewed by The National broadly supported clearer rules while saying schools should still provide safe opportunities to capture important moments
