Residents have one final chance tonight to see Etihad Rail’s launch celebrations, with Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Fujairah stations hosting large-scale light and laser displays.
The shows will run from 7pm to 1am on Friday, October 2, marking the expansion of passenger rail services across the UAE.
Dubai’s Al Yalayis station and Abu Dhabi’s Mohammed Bin Zayed City station welcomed passengers for the first time on September 30, while Fujairah’s Al Hilal station is also part of the celebrations.
The new passenger network has expanded the options available for inter-emirate travel, with services now connecting Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Fujairah. Etihad Rail plans to expand the network further, with ten stations expected to be operational by the end of March.
