A UAE police officer in Ras Al Khaimah has been praised on social media after personally clearing debris from a busy road following a traffic accident.
A 13-second video shows the officer, wearing his police uniform and a high-visibility vest, using a broom to sweep debris from the roadway while traffic continues to pass.
Rather than waiting for the road to be cleared, the officer took immediate action to remove the potential hazard and help reduce the risk of further accidents.
Another member of the public is also seen stopping to assist in clearing the debris.
The officer’s quick, hands-on response has drawn praise online, with viewers commending his efforts to prioritise motorists’ safety.
