Dubai is expected to have four stations connected to Etihad Rail, including two serving the planned high-speed line to Abu Dhabi.
The national passenger network will use Al Yalayis station, scheduled to open on 30 September, and another station that has not been formally named. Dubai’s 2032 rail map places the second connection in Meydan.
A separate high-speed network will have Dubai stations at Al Maktoum International Airport and Al Jaddaf. The electrified service is intended to reduce travel between Dubai and Abu Dhabi to approximately 30 minutes.
The stations are also expected to connect with Dubai Metro lines as the emirate develops a more integrated rail network.
