Dubai residents and citizens can now obtain an International Driving Permit in as little as five minutes at Dubai International Airport.
The round-the-clock service is available at the Customer Happiness Centre in Terminal 3 Arrivals to applicants holding a valid UAE driving licence.
Applicants must present their Emirates ID, UAE driving licence, passport copy and a personal photograph. The permit remains valid for one year and must be used together with the holder’s UAE licence.
Authorities have not announced the fee for the new airport service.
