Dubai Police and Digital Dubai have launched an artificial-intelligence system that matches operational requirements with employees’ skills and specialisations.
The AI Assisted Shift Management System recommends how personnel should be distributed and provides a real-time view of staffing, coverage and operational readiness through the Smart Employee application.
Major General Dr Saleh Abdullah Murad said AI was being treated as “a strategic enabler” for improving the use of human resources and helping leaders make faster, data-based decisions.
Digital Dubai intends to make the system available to other government entities across the emirate. It will form part of the Government Resources Planning ecosystem, which serves more than 80 Dubai government bodies.
