Dubai’s Museum of the Future will temporarily close its current galleries from September 1 as it prepares for its biggest transformation since opening.

The existing exhibitions will be replaced by a new generation of immersive experiences covering science, technology and emerging global challenges. The updated museum is expected to open during the first quarter of 2027, coinciding with its fifth anniversary.

Visitors have until the end of August to experience the current exhibitions, which include displays focusing on space exploration, biodiversity, health, transport, energy and future technologies.

The museum currently operates daily from 10 am to 7 pm. Advance reservations are recommended because demand is expected to increase during the final days.

Visitors using public transport can reach the attraction through Emirates Towers Metro Station on the Red Line. A complete visit generally takes about two to three hours.
