
Residents across the UAE can expect fair weather on Tuesday, June 9, with temperatures set to decrease slightly, particularly in northern areas, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).
Temperatures are forecast to reach up to 46°C in some parts of the country. Abu Dhabi is expected to record highs of 40°C and lows of 29°C, while Dubai will see temperatures ranging between 37°C and 29°C.
The NCM said light to moderate southwesterly to northwesterly winds will prevail, freshening at times and causing blowing dust. Wind speeds are expected to range from 10km/h to 25km/h, reaching up to 40km/h in some areas.
A yellow alert for strong winds and rough seas remains in effect until 10pm today. Sea conditions will be slight to moderate, becoming rough at times in the Arabian Gulf, while the Oman Sea will remain slight.
