A brand-new taxi-hailing app has been launched in Dubai for all those who rely on taxis to get around.

Yango, is a taxi-haling app from Finland that has just launched in the GCC.

According to Time Out Dubai, prioritising affordable rides, the app uses its own mapping and routing system to get you from point A to B quickly.

It’s Yango’s routing system that allows it to offer speedy rides. They also only allow drivers to take one ride at a time and the option to schedule their next ride.

Similarly to other Dubai taxi-hailing apps, using Yango is simple. You download the app, select your location and order a driver.

There are two types of rides you can order, comfort (Lexus cars) and premier (Mercedes S-class, BMW 7 Series).

How much do Yango taxis cost?

A journey from the One&Only Royal Mirage in Dubai Marina to the Mall of the Emirates is around Dhs52.5 for the comfort cars and Dhs56 for the premier cars.

Heading to the airport? It will cost you around Dhs71 (comfort) or Dhs82.5 (premier) to get from Downtown Dubai to Dubai International.

To go from La Mer Beach to The Dubai Mall will cost you around Dhs39 (comfort) and Dhs42 (premier).

Yango is available to download from the app store on Android and iPhone in Arabic and English. (NewsWire)
